of heights and wonder walls...

try as i might, i can only get this far! but this was quite ambitious for a newbie like me... yeah, dream on..

this has got to be one fun activity in this BMC training.. it was far removed from our usual runs, ramps and cool downs..

well we did run.. or at least my batchmates did.. less than 2k and my shoes all but gave up on me.. if only my shoes could speak, it would either be shrieking at me and harranguing me for all the hardships i put it through.. or it would have sounded like a man too tired to hold on to anything.. one who is rasping his last breath.. ahhhh another added expense which is quite unexpected on my list..

and so, each of us had the chance to do something close to suicidal ... not all people like to be tied to a rope, made to hold on to these small painful stones and slowly climb up on the wall high above. but the members were determined to really put us through this "masochistic" activity.. so climb we did.. with so much shouting, hysterics, catcalls and hollering for encouragement..

after climbing and (or rather scrambling) up on the wall, we were given time to plan for the upcoming acquiantance party on July 28.. which was less than a week.. so here i was enumerating what we needed... money..venue..money..food..money..alcoholic drinks.. and yes of course MONEY!! hahaha but i had faith that we could pull it off... we managed to conquer fears when we scaled these walls... what's a little party compared to it?
